We've been keeping busy

 We have been enjoying our new end-of-summer routine.  Asher typically plays with our neighbor- his favorite friend- until dinner.  This makes me happy.  They play and play and play.

At work, my days are very busy.  The students are busy, the classes are excellent, my job is incredibly fulfilling, and we are teaching  them to do lots of science.  In fact, our experiments in one class keep failing over and over and over, but they are motivated to keep going.  YAY for that.

 My new camera is here.  To say I am grateful does not even touch how I feel.

I got some fresh fruit and this cake this week, and it was all gone in one night.  It had been a while since we have had a treat like that.  It was well-deserved, I think.

Asher LOVED our local Fall Festival.  He had a truly wonderful time.

Sometimes, they watch a movie together and that is really nice.

Things are very regular, which I am loving.  I am sort of hoping that my life is fairly unremarkable (except that things are great) for the rest of my adulthood.  I have had enough of the crises to last me forever.
