Christmas Magic

Having a five year old is just magic at Christmas.  I am trying my best to incorporate the Christmas Spirit every day in our lives this December.  We have our advent calendar, our Gingerbread house traditions, and trying to do nice things for those we see with needs around us.

I took Asher to see the lights at Bull Run this year.  I wanted to have Valerie here, but she was in Waynesboro.  I did ask her to come and bring a friend, but she did not want to go.  Asher LOVED it.

Matt had just had some pretty painful dental work, and was operating with no pain medication at all (I had no idea), we had a truly magical night.  He LOVED it and thanked us over and again.

 I wish we all had this love for the joy of memories and Christmas as we age, but man... grab a five year old and spend time with him at Christmas, and your joy will certainly increase.
