Election

Here, I was thinking yesterday when I woke up, Facebook would be nice, happy Facebook.  I really did think that over night, it would all change.  Instead, I woke up to crazy people quoting random scriptures, and belaboring end-of-times rhetoric.  These were mostly mormons, of course.  Most of whom KNEW that Mitt Romney was going to be our next president.

Welcome to cognitive dissonance, friends of Mitt Romney, who believed him to be called of God to be the president of the USA.  It is kind of how I felt when my house was lost to foreclosure, and I paid a full tithe.  Just sucks when something like that happens, doesn't it.  I feel for them.  I, too, have been caught up in the feelings that things would work out because we have a loving Heavenly Father... then I realized... I am not the only one to lose a house.  He is not the only one to lose an election.

Now though, those people are FIREY ANGRY.  They are saying hateful, mean things.   The thing that kills me is the nasty rhetoric comparing Obama to satan.  It is... flabbergasting.  Some of the crazy on Facebook today made me laugh out loud.  I was reading certain posts aloud to those at work so we could all have a chuckle.  There is a whole page I was invited to asking for screenshots of crazy things people were saying.  I read through, then did some copy and pasting from my own newsfeed.  People can be so, incredibly whack.

Anyway.  I turned on Fox News tonight, just to see.  It is clear from where "those people" get their ideas.  I learned today that the only people who voted for Obama are: single slutty women, people who want the government to 'take care of them'. hispanics and blacks.  How is that for racist, sexist, and superior?

Also, I must say, anyone who spends YEARS on welfare on purpose- "to stay at home and be a mom" while the husband is "in school" has NO FRIGGEN RIGHT to disparage those who are on welfare.  That is all.

Finally, I don't like my blog having this type of thing here, so dont expect too much more of it.
