So Dang Busy, but nothing exciting to mention...

I just finished up Freshmen Advising, which was eventful, but better than past years.  Instead of 15 meetings, we had 8, there is good to that, and not-so-good to that.  Fewer meetings meant... well... not as much time at work.  However, fewer meetings meant lots of students at each one, and  not much time at ALL to spend with our new freshmen.  In fact, the ones who did everything right (the really, really good ones), we barely talked to one-on-one at all.  That is actually a shame, but I did make it a point to talk to every person and welcome them to come talk to me at any time. 

Valerie is working almost full-time hours, mostly late nights, so she sleeps late, then goes to work.  I like her days off because I actually get to see her. 

Asher is learning so much.  He is such a joy.  I have really enjoyed my summer with him.  I am going to miss him when he goes to Kindergarten and I go back to work all day, every day. 

One good thing is the amount of sessions I am doing.  I had 5 last week, and I have two this week.  That makes me very, very happy.  I am hoping this continues.  I really need it to.  My images are where I want them and as nervous as it makes me, I am phasing out "all images on a USB" and I will be only selling prints in the next couple months.  That will mean more than $75/ 1/2 hour session and hopefully, I can have good luck with that.  I am pleased with myself though.
