Amazing Day

I was commissioned to make tutus for two special girls' birthdays in Maryland

This baby was so precious and happy.  He made me YEARN for another baby

Present-opening festivities, during this time, Asher kept running to the (amazing) table of food and grabbing handfuls of M&Ms

New phone app... You should see the ones of Matt as a luxurious blonde

One of the bakery treats

Shannon's amazing, sparkly cupcakes

In the car, on the way to the temple.  They live, LITERALLY like 5 miles away.

Fun at the temple

"Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands."-Isaiah 49:16

Valerie was so happy to take a picture with me... and I look about 12 years old.  Not cool.  Matt's sister and her husband met us there

Sky baby, he had a wonderful day.... Then we left the temple and it got interesting

After we left the temple, we got on 495 and Asher vomited and vomited and vomited, I got off where I KNEW we would find decent bathrooms- Tyson's Corner- and we cleaned him up while Valerie and Alexis wandered the shopper's paradise. We looked around a little, but I did not even feel bad about not being able to afford anything. It was (is) very nice to just be like, eh... moving on.

So, we got back in the car and all the way to Manassas before he threw up again- this time it was projectile and I was in his line of "sight." Thankfully, I know that exit well too, so we cleaned him off at Wendy's.

Bottom line, every time we have gone to DC in the last year, Asher throws up. I am not sure it is motion sickness, because he starts coughing, THEN he vomits. Something is up though, it makes me never, ever, ever want to take a long trip with him again. I am serious. That is miserable and it smelled like vomit for 2 hours... ick. Vomit smells like feta cheese, I will not (ever?) have greek salad again for a while...

We were so happy to see all of you yesterday! Predictably, both girls are wearing their tutus...today. Figures. :)
Love you!
