Another Photo Shoot and recap

So busy!!

Thursday was a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I had a lot of help and we had a very Pioneer Woman Thanksgiving.  It was so yummy, but I should have drained the potatoes a long time before I did.  I was thinking I was making them stay hot.  I was making them extremely runny instead.  Sigh.  They still tasted really great though.

Valerie said "Where is the stuffing" and I realized... I forgot to make it! I made it for later that night though.

Asher and Taylor were totally having a great time together.  At dinner, they were NOT wanting to eat, so we let them both down.  Asher grabbed the platter of pilgrim hat desserts and they ate the entire thing.  He was COVERED in chocolate.  It was funny.  We all laughed.

Friday, we ventured out to Target and Jenn to Wal-mart.  I really wanted some of the really cheap DVDs and fleece things for my kiddos.  It was an experience, we were in a huge line that wrapped around all the makeup, medicine and grocery aisles.  It too 45 minutes to check out.

I then came home, napped for an hour and took Valerie to Waynesboro to meet her grandparents who took her to North Carolina for the weekend.  I will pick her up tomorrow morning.

Today, we went to Greene County to have Thanksgiving dinner with my best friend's family.  I love them so much.  Every single time I go, I am always absolutely overwhelmed with love and gratitude that this family has accepted me and my family so completely.  It is just a beautiful thing.

We had an amazing meal. I was in love with sugar-spiral ham, homemade bread, awesome broccoli and cheese and pecan pie.  Wow.

Tiff's uncle and aunt are LDS and they brought frog eye salad which everyone loved.  I totally laughed.  I loved seeing that.  It makes me happy.

I love Tiffany's family.  A retired CIA agent, farmer, pharmacist, home-schooler, reading expert, painter/musican.  Such an awesome family.  I love them and they love me.  I can hardly wait to go again at Christmas.  This year, Asher was totally adorable and so was Taylor.  She LOVED the family and especially Uncle CIA agent.  He has grand-daughters so it was excellent.  It was such a wonderful thing to see.

I am going to miss Jenn and Taylor when they leave and Asher will REALLY miss them.  He has been squealing and laughing when he sees Taylor in the morning and says "Tay Tay!!"  So adorable.

I am NOT looking forward to work Monday.  I am EXHAUSTED.  Blah.  We still have THREE. WEEKS. left.  How is that possible? I am so tired.  Oh well, it will be great.
