I have changed so much as a person over the last month. There are many reasons, but the biggest is that I have felt chastened by the Lord in my prayers and ponderings of my life. There are many things I feel that I was so wrong about in my life and I am making good on those things. I could be a prideful butt and be stubborn in my misery, but that is not really "who" I am. I am making changes and hoping to improve my family life and my personal life while taking heed of the spiritual promptings I have felt.
In addition, I am going to focus on me. It is ok to want to- then subsequently feel pretty. I like to feel pretty, so... I will be focusing a little on my confidence as well. I got my hair highlighted today. This is something I have not done in FOUR YEARS. In fact, during that time, I have had three haircuts, that is it. Anyway, it was only $50 and it was so well spent, I feel so, so much better about ME.

sometimes you gotta do a little for yourself. I am getting my hair cut next week and I can't wait!
I love those highlights!!! I tried brown once and it just didn't work for me, but seeing your hair, and Tina recently went dark brown, makes me wish it looked better on me. I haven't had my hair colored in 3 or 4 years and only had my hair cut 3 times too! Haha, someday I'll splurge. It really is nice to get pampered every once in awhile.
