Man, what a busy three weeks! I have things mostly how I want them- now that our shed is here (we had it moved), I will be able to get the things on the perimeter of the garage packed up and the stuff in the old garage as well, and I will be feeling much more at-ease with all this moving business. It is really stressful!
It looks good though- I do have an eye for design and (lucky for me) the resourcefulness to get an area really spiffy without spending a ton. The way it worked for this house was using what I had and only purchasing a few things- I found using black and brown pieces together (and I already had a lot), things really went together well. It looks like the color difference was intentional, but it sooo wasn't.

| Back Porch, love the screen and the ceiling fan |

| Dining Room |
 |
| Living room (yes, we have a tube TV still complete with Asher handprints... in fact... we have TWO tube TVs)- these are 2 Expedit shelves ($70). We already had one that is in Valerie's room, so we knew we liked them. |
 |
| Living room again- I already had the pillows, sofa (I really would love a new one), etc, but the floor lamps ($19) and the chairs ($49) really tie it together. |

| Entry way with IKEA "Lack" coffee table (19$) as shoe storage, catch-all |

| Down the stairs- shelf from Eve |

| I need a wide-angle lens- this is all I can get of "Valerie and Asher's" bathroom |

| Master Bedroom |
 |
| Master bedroom and tube TV #2 |
 |
| Master Bathroom |
 |
| Asher's bedroom (ARRRG!) |
 |
| Valerie's room |
 |
| Cupboard under the stairs makes a great contained play area- I have had this unit (Trofast) since Valerie was about 4, but I did have to buy all new drawers because SOMEONE kept using them for cat litter. They are really cheap, but since they don't ship them, getting these was the inspiration for the IKEA trip last weekend... That and Michael wanted to see an IMAX |

| Half-Bath- again, need wide-angle lens for these shots ;-) |
For me, this house has taken a while to feel like home. I feel by loving this new house, I am cheating on my old house that I really, really still love. We are so grateful for this new house. It is actually a really great place and we are all legitimately happier here. We are so grateful for this blessing. The things that have happened in the last couple months have been truly incredible. We are so grateful and hope we can be our best to be faithful and true and good.

You have done such a great job. Everything looks great and it sounds like you have enjoyed getting it all ready. It is amazing what a few new things will do and moving around things you already have. And, you are saving $$ on the rent. Two huge bonuses!
Very livable and nice. So glad things are swinging upward.
It looks so nice Crystal!! IKEA is awesome. I only went twice the while time we lives on Texas (there's one in Austin) and your pictures are making me wish I'd gone more. I really love the cube bookshelves. Love the pirate theme in Asher's room too! Very original.
