Warmer Days

We got to see Bria for a few hours

Flowers from Matt

This stuff saved my sanity Wednesday night.  Asher has been staying up and active till 1-2 am. Not only that, he does not watch TV for more than 5-10 minutes, he only plays with toys if someone (me) is playing with him- same with books, so he follows me around, pulling me here and there... Anyway.  11 is normally when he goes to sleep, which is torture enough.  I never get a moment to just relax.  I gave him this Weds night at 9:00 though, and he fell asleep at 10:30.  Not only that, but he slept totally soundly, for 11 hours- I left for work before he got up.  Generally, he sleeps 6 or 7 hours and wakes up about 10 times (I wish I was kidding per night).  No naps.  It is really a hard thing to deal with every day.  Anyway, the sleepy medicine was a good purchase.  It was magic.  I am hoping the sleep gets better soon and without medication.  I am totally exhausted.

A new TV!! WOW! Thank you to my sweet friend, Bri! She is going to India, then BYU and thought... eh, i will give Crystal my really sweet TV.  I am astonished.  I got a Costco membership about a month ago, and every time I go in, I look at the TVs.  I have had one in my Amazon cart for 2 years :-) but can never justify the expense.  Anyway, that was really sweet.  Where would I be without this girl.  She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside.  It is incredible, really.

Monday I start teaching summer Cell and Molecular Biology.  I have taught this time and time again, still though, I am a little nervous.  4 weeks instead of 15 is going to be clazy!  I would really love your prayers. Also, I will start my Freshman advising training in 2 weeks too.  I am really looking forward to the summer, but by no means, am I "done" for another 2 months ;-)

It is pretty tough when: he goes 100 mph all day long, refuses to take a nap, needs a buddy for everything he does and when he finally goes to sleep kamikaze style. Right up to the moment he goes to sleep he is fighting it tooth and nail. The most frustrating thing about Asher is that his sleeping habits are extremely unpredictable. It's especially fun when he decides to wake up at 3:00am and as always needs a buddy to hang out with him. Take a guess who that buddy is;-)
It was a relief when he was out cold for 11 straight hours; even though there were several times we thought something might be wrong since it was so uncharacteristic of him.
