I apologize for the late post. We have not had internet, but now we do (and it is really, really speedy).
Last weekend, Valerie, Valerie's friend, Asher and I went to the beach to see Michael, Jenn and Taylor. They had a great time and so did I. It was a perfect time to visit, except for Valerie's sore throat... which she appears to have given to Taylor...
Taylor amazes me. I think she is the first kid I have spent three days with that I have not thought at any point the word "bratty" at all. I hope that isn't harsh ;-), she really is the most-well-behaved, sweet girl. She would make anyone wish to have a little girl just like her. Sad for me though, I have come FULLY to terms with being all done with my child-bearing years. I turn 35 in August and I just feel better about not having more children at this age. I am still young... but not, you know? Anyway. That has been a sad realization, but at the same time, I am so incredibly grateful for the kiddos I do have. Praise God for them.

| Best back yard EVER award |
| Love, love LOVE this girl |
| Asher loves his aunt Jenn |
| Taylor is absolutely precious. |
| She carefully chooses the shells she loves |
| And ROCKS her bikini |
| She was an awesome playmate for Asher |
| Asher DID get to go into the ocean despite my non-bathing-suited self thanks to Alexis |
| And thanks to Jenn |
| There was lots of beach fun for everyone, the girls (and Michael) got to even play with a dolphin |
Note, Asher is not a "fat kid." When I tell people his stats (40 pounds, 40 inches) some have said "aren't his doctors worried?" Um. No. He is not overweight, or even chubby. He is BIG and STRONG and HEALTHY and considering his start to the world, we are all THRILLED ;-)

Anyway, it was a wonderful time to visit my "littlest" brother and his family. I was sad Matt had to work. That meant I was pretty much run completely ragged by a certain toddler, but I am really, really REALLY glad we went. I needed that...
