Asher loves looking at the curious creatures, and does not hurt them as I catch them, put them into his chubby hands and step back.
We do this every night that it is not raining. It is a good way to pass 30-60 minutes, happily. He really loves these little guys! One splatted against the windshield Friday night, and he said "Pret.ty!" Then realized it died and started crying. Now he tells them to "run run run away" when we see them in the car.
I did not realize how lucky I was to grow up with them, but Matt says they do not exist in Idaho. My friend told me she Skype'd with her nieces in Utah Sunday night to show them. That is really neato.
Here are some of our other daily rituals.
Running with no pants on
Chasing bubbles
BLOWING bubbles
Tackling me
Playing with the hose in the driveway
Scattering all the toys down the driveway
Pointing at the sunset and saying "pret.ty"
This one looks like he wants to flip me the bird, but he didn't :-)
Still sad about the time out.
The "dipper" also gets discarded (just about the same time all the neighbors go on their walks) every day too.
What are your summer days like?

really liked the last two posts to get caught up. i feel kind of like i am missing summer. it is ok, but i am still missing it. i told someone the other day that we were not doing any yard work this summer. they laughed. i am serious. crib is almost done. i will be very glad. i love your beautiful sunsets. asher is so cute, but two year olds can be so so naughty. he is still adorable. like everything else, it is temporary. thanks so much for sharing these pictures. debby
