Fun Times

WHAT A REALLY BUSY WEEK!

Monday night, Kayla came over so that the 7:30 am arrival- then departure- for girls' camp would be easier.

I was asked to drive 5 girls and that was fine, although it WAS my day off and the camp IS over three hours away, but they needed me and I was available.  Of course, I was not a crappy hamper when we had JUST left at 9 am... but it was all good...

Asher and I flew solo till Thursday- Matt and I really do not see each other until weekends.

Wednesday, I went to Charlottesville to get Bri then take her to Dulles and back.  I nearly lost it twice when she was being so tender about the duct tape bag Valerie made and when she was saying good-bye to Asher.  We love Bri, she is our family.

Thursday, after work, I took some pictures for our baby-sitter of their kiddos + 3 nieces/nephew THEN...

We drove 3+ hours to get Valerie and Kayla a day early so that...

Asher was making me a nervous wreck at the bridge at girls' camp.

We could meet Jen and Michael in Richmond early Saturday.

We went to the ZOO and King's Dominion Saturday, and stayed the night there.  Today (Sunday) we went to Krispy Kreme for hot donuts for breakfast and Harry Potter, then we went home.  Those donuts... MAN! I wish there was a closer one to us.  I still am so sad the Charlottesville one closed.  Harry Potter... wow did I cry.  I just knew I would, as I cried reading the book, and I definitely did.

We parted ways in the theatre parking lot and Taylor cried again when we left, that just breaks my heart.  I love that girl.  Family is so precious.  I do wish we had family closer, but I have made it a PRIORITY to make the time to see regularly, the family we do have near, because it is awfully lonely with no family around.

Wow! Asher is looking so much older. Love his speedy Schwinn with bell, fenders, tassels, whirlygig, etc. Go Asher.
