I have been really busy this week- which means we ALL have been. Today, after weeks of trying, I finally got a train table before it was claimed on Craigslist. It was on the far side of Charlottesville, but totally worth it. It was posted with no pictures, and the lady sent me some fuzzy phone pictures, it was definitely worth a trip although not being able to really see it- after all, we could say no.
Instead, we said "YIPEE!" It is a really nice table, lots of tracks and trains. Even better, though, they are THOMAS trains, those babies are about $8 a piece.... so needless to say, we felt really lucky. Asher's big present is taken care of for when he turns three in a couple weeks. How did that happen?
He is totally unaware, he was playing with a puppy and in the son's room while Matt loaded everything.

That was our Friday, I'd write about other days, but it is just work and running after Asher right now. I am really missing the help from Matt. He is truly so so SO demanding. It is exhausting.
Valerie is getting ready for her first day of high school Tuesday (again, HOW did that happen!?). I am nervous as anything for her. I know she will get used to it and it will be a great year for her, but high school is the real deal. It is no joke. Now every decision is so much more important. Goodness help me get through it.
