Waiting to Exhale... and eat... and sleep... and...

It has been one crazy week:

Emotionally, Physically, Mentally and TRULY exhausting

Monday: leave at 8 for 9-1 meeting
1-3- ready fruit flies, measure incubators, cooler for new building
discover contamination in wild-type fly stocks (curses!) and re-do vials
3:10- leave work
Home-
Chase Asher
drive to town to take stuff to Alexis
work on work documents

Tuesday
Wake Valerie for first day of HIGHSCHOOL!


Work early
submit documents
meet with students
EARTHQUAKE
leave
play with Asher
make Valerie cupcakes
burn hand
walk around with ice
cant type
get really crabby till Matt gets home

Wednesday
Faculty meeting from 8-4
pick up Asher from sitter
twist back trying to get Asher into 2 door ancient Tercel
pick up the van
Get Bria
Go to park
Go home to eat amazing Indian food (thanks, Bri!)
Get cake from Laura and Jordon



Get name change in mail!


Thursday: Cell Meeting 9-11
Meet Bisi (who is mostly healed from leukemia)
Finalize Freshman Advising
Look over class schedule
Write out prep lists
Meet with Freshman
Move 16 desk/chairs up then down a one flight
Rush to get Valerie
Rush home
Get dinner thanks to Bria!
Play with Asher
Wait for Bri and Valerie to get home from Harry Potter
Talk with Bri and behold her orange contacts



Friday:
Up at 2:50 am and off to BWI
Amazing and touching conversation
Make plan with Bria to pay off my $$$$ in student loans (ball and chain, baby!)
Tear up and see tears as we part ways
Behold sunrise and amazing view of Temple
Eventless drive home
nap
Asher fun
Make dinner for family who needs it
Stop at park on way home and discover divine sunset photo spots




People here are panicking, but we are GREATLY BLESSED, just barely outside the hurricane zone.


My brother is not so lucky
Keep them in your prayers

happy birthday week crystal. thanks for the posts. i haven't visited for a while. crazy week, but happy birthday to you, anyway. i hope the weeks get better and better at school. they are so lucky to have you, so are matt, valerie and asher.
