I decided we really needed to get down to Jacksonville. There were a lot of things that went into this, but I have not seen Jen and Taylor since Thanksgiving week, Valerie really needed someone (who is not me) to talk to, Asher misses his cousins all the time, and! I wanted to take some maternity photos of Jennifer (who is GORGEOUS). So, we went down Friday and came back Sunday morning. Jennifer took very good care of us and treated us on this trip. That was incredibly kind, and very appreciated.

| I had to get my lighting and settings right. Although she did not want pictures, I convinced Valerie to help me set up my camera, etc. |

| Lookie here! |
| I love this one so, so much. Alyssa will be here in May, and she already has a tutu for newborn photos! |
| Taylor is very excited about her sister, and also possibly the easiest toddler I have ever photographed. The secret is Valerie making "tooting" noises. |
| Look at how gorgeous Jennifer is. My brother is so lucky in every way. |
| Taylor just makes me so happy. Look at how adorable she is! |
| We got lots of cutie-in-daddys-boots photos |
| Jennnifer and Valerie went for a drive (so Valerie could talk) and Asher and Taylor played at this jumping place for a few hours. Jennifer was kind enough to treat Asher to this, and he responded by being blissfully happy the entire time. He and Taylor were happiness in motion for four hours. They were actually sad when it was time to leave. It really was great for them to be able to just play like that, while Valerie and Jennifer could talk. |
IT was a great way to spend the weekend. I wish they were closer, but what a blessing to have family close enough for an occassional visit. I don't really know much right now, but I do know God was looking out for us all when He put Michael at Camp LeJeune. We all need them "here." Even Asher.
