Big Day

What a GREAT DAY today! It was "the party" and thanks to hard-working Matt, Jenn, Abby, David, Carly and Kayla, we had a lovely and successful party with happy birthday babies, thrilled kiddo guests and thrilled adult guests.  I do not have a lot of photos of the party itself, because I was crazy-busy, but David does, so I anxiously await those photos.  I am really wanting photos of the sugar cookies and happy kiddos.  There were about 50 people here.  My neighbors probably were totally overwhelmed ;-)

I then drove to JMU, took photos of Shannon's gorgeous family, showed my labs to Bria, Sarah and Dreama, then Jenn, Abby and I went to the amazingly sweet Relief Society Broadcast.  It was so filled with love, understanding and words I absolutely needed to hear.  It is nice to feel like we are "all in this together" from time to time.

It was a great day and I am glad birthday parties do not happen all the time because I like to do them big and fun, that is harder to do with many children- or two even- so I am grateful I can do this and be ok.  This was the cheapest party I have ever done, but it was soooooooo much work to make it fun, filling and eventful.  It was perfect though, even the weather, so it was all totally worth it.  Now I need to sleep though. I got 4 hours last night and Monday comes soon...

Wish we could have been there for the big event. Love Asher's blue cupcake face. He's a happy boy.

YAY for the party! What a great day. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the birthday kids were adorable. The after-party scenic drive and RS broadcast were also wonderful. Thanks for inviting us!
