Pretty Fall Day

I woke up this morning and checked my messages- my cousin always sends texts first thing in the morning.  I loved this one.  I actually laughed out loud:

MMMMMMWAH

Then I got up and shipped some things I sold.   Then I listed more things to sell.  All the while, hoping for a sudden way to be able to drive to Winchester and/or the humpback mountains today.  The weather is cool and not humid.  It is, in fact, PERFECT.  I wanted to take Asher on his first hike in the mountains with a picnic.  I had high hopes.

Then no one bought anything I have listed and no checks came in the mail... hey, it WAS my birthday and I did not get much in the mail, so I still have hopes ;-)

So, I realized it was going to be yet another weekend of not leaving for anything but church.  How FRUSTRATING! It was bad enough to have big plans, then to have no ability to do anything at all.

We did have lunch outside.  Asher loves eating outside.

He always loves cheese, but he REALLY liked Triscuits.  He had never had them before.  Unfortunately, they made him throw up by tickling his throat.  Sigh.

Summer is the best for fresh produce.  Asher was ALL ABOUT the blueberries and raspberries.
I love just about every vegetable ever... except a few, but I DO NOT LIKE FRUIT! (except pineapple).  I am so glad Asher likes it though.  That will serve him well.

Anyway, that was our exciting Saturday ;-)
