Tonight at dinner...

So, I had signed up for making the missionaries dinner last Sunday... then I forgot, so I asked them when they were free next and they told me today, so I apologetically and enthusiastically told them I would LOVE to have them over tonight.

Then Matt had to work

Then I started going through Asher's clothes and the dining room is overtaken by my stash:

Then I cleaned the church and my arms hurt too much to cook

And.  I am tired, kids.

Sooooo, I made use of the coupon book and accompanying gift certificate  I got from a friend in the fall (then forgot about) and I picked up the sisters (who were WALKING HOME ON A BUSY HIGHWAY) off the side of the road:

and Candra, Asher and I took them to dinner.

Here is how it went.

Here are your chips and salsa- with... cole slaw? If I had not seen it, ain't NO WAY I would have believed it

Then we ordered (Asher got his FAVORITE MEXICAN RESTAURANT TREAT: a HOTDOG-O)

and Asher ran 2 laps around the restaurant, touched every wall decoration, turned on and off the faucets in the bath room 22 times each.

We got to the table, Asher took his hotdog out of the bun and ate it all (yay) while finicking with the hotdog bun the entire time- rubbing it on his plate, my plate, candra's plate, the table, the chair... then he took a bite (NAY!)

Then he scoot backward into the table behind us (in his leather bucket chair) the girls behind us laughed and were nice- so THEN, it became a game.  They left after a few times (they were done, and still nice) so Asher took to climbing on their table and the (empty) table beside theirs.

Then back to our table where he picked up a lemon, and I thought he was going to hand it to me- nope, he took a bite. from a lemon on the floor.  of a restaurant.

Then he stuck two fingers up his nose, looked at them, and licked them.

Then THAT was not good enough, so a french fry went up the nose.  He shivered as I ripped it outta there, then asked to please, please be able to pay and go.  I really would have loved the rare treat of eating out had that not been our night, but it was, and I think I may not eat out ever again.  But he sure is cute.
