Day Three- Great Grandma, YELLOWSTONE and first weekend

We had planned to drive to Cascade, Idaho on Friday, but there were so many forest fires near there, that the road to the cabin there was closed. (aside, made for really pretty sunsets!) Instead, we went to Yellowstone Friday.

This is from Yellowstone- I had never been there.

 Before we left, we visited Grandma Christensen, who introduced Asher to Molly and Chloe

And we visited Grandma and Grandpa

The drive to Yellowstone was just gorgeous.  We were in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming all in one day

We wandered around the hot pools forever.  I could have looked at them for twice as long as we spent.  I have never seen/felt/smelled anything like that

It was a great day!  Asher stayed up till 4 am after that because he had a two hour nap on the way home O-o

Saturday, we cleaned up, went to Cafe Rio (YAY!) for lunch, and spent a little time shopping.  Asher chest-bumped another kid after he got hurt and said "outta my way!" We left after that.  I was really shocked he did that!

Saturday night, we took a walk, which we all just loved

Grandma saw a friend, so we stopped to say hello

SUNDAY, we went to church, visited Grandma and Grandpa, and stopped at a pharmacy to pick up antibiotics for Matt, his face started swelling from an infection he was getting, and his cousin called in a prescription for him...

Close to dark, the Vanderlowu's (minus Ray and Elliot, and plus Eva and Lilia) got to grandma's and Asher was PSYCHED!!
