Monday/Tuesday/Weds/Thursday/Friday/Saturday 8/13-18

Monday, Matt woke with lots of pain and more swelling, so his cousin said to come see him. Asher, Matt and I drove to Downey, Idaho for this adventure. Always up for new experiences, I was excited to go. Come to find out, the town is almost a replica of Bunker Hill, Kansas... where I spent many a restless day. Lucky for me, Asher and I found things to do... in the 100 degree weather... for 2 hours...

First, we had a quick play date in the hot tub...

Asher fell asleep as soon as we got on the interstate, it was a FUN morning, and afternoon of play- AND the Delgadillos were on the way when we left!

There were two boys there, and they talked a lot to me.  I liked them, I  have thought about them a lot since we met.

Asher and I explored Downey, Idaho.  It was fun :-D

Meanwhile, Matt had TWO TEETH PULLED! Talk about unexpected!

When we got home, Dana and kids arrived soon after.  BOYS!! 

 TUESDAY, we started with a little family lesson and a prayer.

That evening, I drove to Rexburg to take engagement photos of my sweet laurel and her new fiance! How CRAZY is that?!

We then visited the Idaho Falls temple. It is so gorgeous, because it is right beside the river.  I love the location of this temple.  The spirit there was just fantastic.

Wednesday was mostly playing...

And THURSDAY, was water PARK DAY!!

and I made dinner- Pioneer Woman's Chicken Tikka Masala, homemade naan and pineapple upside down cake.

Friday, we visited with Matt's friend, and went to the Idaho Natural History Museum

And a morning trip to the park with 7 kids- three of whom did not have shoes...

LATE (10 pm), that night, Matt and I went to see the Bourne Legacy.  Who KNEW Carmike has amazing caramel corn!? That was the BEST PART! We came home to a sad boy with tears down his face... Sigh...  That was our first movie alone too.

Saturday was the Christensen Family reunion.  Unfortunately, I did not have any space on my memory cards, so I just have phone photos... Sad, but at least I have SOMETHING!!
