Baby girl
rest gently, dream of angels and flowers and rose-scented breezes
While you are sleeping we are praying and weeping and hoping for you
We must have you back, we long to see your sparkling eyes
and hollywood smile
When you come back, you will feel the arms of so many.
You are loved.
Janessa is sick.
He had a tooth abscess that turned into a sinus infection, and then... her brain.
She has been sleeping for 7 days,
Oh the agony this is. I wondered often how people feel when they have a loved one drifting between the space of life and death with the help of machines. I know now. It is truly fearful.
Afraid to hope, because just when you start hoping, your step sister is having surgery to remove her skull to allow her brain to swell from the confines of the cranium.
But having no hope... that is much, much worse.
I have hope- a cautious optimism.
Her dad wants her to open her eyes
Her mom trusts in God. Today she cried though, and somehow, that scared me worse than the brainsurgery.
We just need you to get better, Janessa.
So many people, all over the country, are asking me about you, praying for you- sending you love on angels' wings. Do you know that? Do you feel it as you sleep? If I have one wish, it is that you feel and are warmed by this love.
My friend wanted to share a similar story with me, Janessa. This man is fine now. This blog gave me hope. I want your mom to read this. She will find much comfort in the words.
the hardest part is knowing thathis happened those wounds are finally healing a bit. This just feels to cruel. (more about Gavin here)
Rest gently, we love you.
