SummerTime Weekend 2

I just felt like not staying at home Sunday- which is remarkable considering my Friday and Saturday O.o taking Valerie to the airport.

I decided to take Asher to the water park in Charlottesville. He had a great time there.  It was a PERFECT PERFECT day for us.  Not too hot at all.

We had lunch at the pool, then I got him ice cream at Chandler's.  That is the first time he has had it.

Then i decided to go on a little drive through Eastern Albemarle.  It was just a lovely, lovely drive.

I got apples and cherries from Carter's Mountain.  Asher really liked the cherries, but decided to try to spit the seeds out of the window... That was a fun experience.  I do think he finally got one out the window.   :-)

After that, I took him to my enchanted place- What used to be the Kluge vineyards- and now is the Trump Vineyards.  It is just so, so beautiful there.

It was a great day for us.  It was a nice break in the normal... even after a busy 2 days.

Valerie is having a great time in Spain.   Her passport got lost (of course it did), but her teacher did find it where ever she had put it. :-)

Today is back to work/day camp.

Life is good.

Can I go down the waterslide?  Ugh, off by **one inch**

The group arrives in Madrid and by all accounts, are having the best time with Elena and Jose as tour guides.

These girls LOVE LOVE LOVE Spain so far

My doggie was not happy when I opened the door to the garage- she pushed past me and into the car. She WOULD NOT get out ;-)

Here we are.  Mommy in a sassy bathing suit for the first time in years.

So much fun
