I just felt like not staying at home Sunday- which is remarkable considering my Friday and Saturday O.o taking Valerie to the airport.
I decided to take Asher to the water park in Charlottesville. He had a great time there. It was a PERFECT PERFECT day for us. Not too hot at all.
We had lunch at the pool, then I got him ice cream at Chandler's. That is the first time he has had it.
Then i decided to go on a little drive through Eastern Albemarle. It was just a lovely, lovely drive.
I got apples and cherries from Carter's Mountain. Asher really liked the cherries, but decided to try to spit the seeds out of the window... That was a fun experience. I do think he finally got one out the window. :-)
After that, I took him to my enchanted place- What used to be the Kluge vineyards- and now is the Trump Vineyards. It is just so, so beautiful there.
It was a great day for us. It was a nice break in the normal... even after a busy 2 days.
Valerie is having a great time in Spain. Her passport got lost (of course it did), but her teacher did find it where ever she had put it. :-)
Today is back to work/day camp.
Life is good.
