Cute things Asher has been doing:
1) When he wakes up he yells, "Da EEEEEEEEEE" (a little sad for me, I admit)
2) Sometimes he fights sleep, but if he lays down with me and I rub his head and play with his curlies, he falls fast asleep
3) He LOVES people laughing, sometimes, he takes my hand and puts it on Matt's ribs and says "cul!" as in tickle and laughs and laughs
4) Tonight, he picked up refried beans off his tray and said "poo poo!" and shook them all over the place. Funny! Hilarious!! MESSY.
Cute things Valerie does:
1) Homework as soon as she is home so she can "do what I want" the rest of the evening
2) Suggesting things we should pray for or do for other people
3) EVERY night, we go through every article of clothing and accessory so she knows what she is wearing the next day
4) Reading Harry Potter like mad to be finished by the time the Deathly Hallows I movie comes out

Regarding Asher's "poo poo" comment, ask Matt about the scene from the Steve Martin movie - can't remember the title, but it's the one where he was born a poor black child, and his father taught him the difference between poo poo and shinola. Sounds crazy, but Matt will make sense of it for you. Anyway, based on that, my comment to Asher is, "Boy, you're gonna be just fine."
