I have been pretty sick all week. Seven full days. Unfortunately, so has Valerie. I honestly think it is mono or something like it. Headache, sore muscles, fatigue, sore throat.... except now I have a pretty awesome cough too. Valerie has insurance through her dad, so I am going to take her to the Pediatrician tomorrow. She and I have spent a lot of time sitting quietly or sleeping. Neither of us has had a meal between us for a couple days. I made her drink some water last night and she ate a little dinner tonight, but like me, it made her nauseous.
Asher is good though. Here he is enjoying VeggieTales
I went into work a couple days this week. Friday, the computer guy got me my very own, new iMac. I am excited, particularly since my home iMac is not working and needs a new hard drive.
Anyway, I got a message saying my computer was in and installed from the IT person at work. He even made a "Hello" sign for me. He officially is on the list of awesome.
Ashe likes the new desk. I like the new office. It is great. I am not sharing with anyone.
I have a view...In fact, I have THIS view- it is perfect of the sunset, though I will not be seeing a whole lot of those from work because my hours will not last that long... if they do, though, I have a fantastic view.
I felt smarter and more calm just being there. At home, I feel all sorts of unsettled. I have to admit, I am getting pretty sick of doing nothing but sit around at home all the time. It really is not so fun. It is, however, free. So, it's sit at home. All day. Every day. Repeat. (Blah)
In fact, it is really depressing. I feel kind of like a prisoner.
This is Valerie feeding Asher brownie batter after church. He was a BIG fan of it. Yum.
I like brownie batter more than I like brownies.
