Runny Nose, Sickey Boy

Asher has the cold- or whatever it is- that Valerie and I have. Poor thing though, he can't take the medications that we can. Motrin (generic brand) is as good as it gets for Asher-baby.

He has been BABBLING big time the last couple days. Sometimes he says words, most of the time it is angel talk.

I was thinking of some of the things Valerie used to say when she was a toddler. She was VERY verbal by two. When I think about it now, she was like a child prodigy in the talking. However, she was nearly deaf and we did not know it, so many things were muffled and her pronunciation was really cute. Surgery in 2003 helped that immensely.

She said once "I don't like my toe nails being done because they hurt my beautiful skin" (cuticle)

I posted this on my face book, but Asher knows the meaning for "more" (and the sign) and the meaning of "please" (and the sign), but he thinks "more Please" means "Let me into Valerie's room." It is hilarious.

He likes to lead me around by my finger to show me "please" what ever he wants...
