I am grateful, from what we discussed, I am relieved to hear that I am not crazy for having sized things up the way I did. What a relief, I was beginning to wonder.
Seriously. I am relieved.
Anyway, looks like Matt is going to be going every week... which is quite time-consuming, I must say. 5 hours to, from and in therapy. When I am back at work, I am not sure WHAT we are going to do.
Speaking of though, we all went because... welllllllll... None of us ever leave otherwise.
So we went. We actually went to the downtown mall while Matt sat talking to his kind therapist.
We went to Cappellino's Crazy Cakes and thanks to Valerie's dad, we got cupcakes.
We have not done this all summer long.
The lemon curd one (bottom leftish) was amazing. I am pretty sure their poundcake is the best-ever.
In closing, I am so SO SO glad Matt has the opportunity to go through therapy. I, myself, am a huge fan. One of my best friends (EVER) is my therapist from UVa- Heather Finkel. In fact, I wrote her just a bit ago. Therapy is not "for the weak". It is for everyone. Especially those who want to be stronger. This is going to help Matt process things that happened to him, and gain more confidence and re-work the way he responds to normal stress and life situations. I am certain. In fact, ever since I found out extenuating issues concerning his processing of life events, I have had nothing but the sweet calmness of the Spirit testifying to me.short video of playing kids. The laughter is so adorable
