I have a friend I know through my mom's board who posted a month ago or so that the prenatal appointment she had revealed the baby she was carrying has trisomy 18.

As weeks have passed, she updates and I felt pressed to offer to take pictures for her of the baby whenever he is born.  I am hoping and praying he makes it to term and that she can visit with him before he passes on.  This will be very hard.  I think the worst pain is death and especially the death of a child.  I am praying he makes it to term and that that baby boy's family gets to meet him and kiss his face before he passes.  I am also praying he is born after my summer class is over so it will not be a mad rush to get there, it is a drive.  I am overwhelmed thinking of it all.  All I know is that it was the right thing to do to offer her to take his photos for her.
