This is from my friend, Tiffany- she posted it on her Facebook page this morning and she is not LDS- in fact she is all-out wild pentacostal. We love the same God, adore the same Christ.
This is why I am not going to LDS church anymore. I identify with her statement...
Tiffany is thankful that forgiveness does not include excusing the unacceptable, overlooking truth, or trusting in the vile. But it does include hoping for restoration. In light of God's holiness, A. I cannot harbor hatred in my heart, because it likens me to a murderer, B. it's no small wonder that the unrepentant response to God is to attempt to reinvent Him or ignore Him altogether
