Last Week of April 2012...

First things first... Asher has been doing this for a couple weeks now and I have been meaning to catch it, but guess how much of a pain it is to try to catch something natural with a digital SLR that requires constant focus while in "movie" mode? It is not fun, but last week, thanks to JMU, I got a 64 GB, all the bells and whistles, iPad 3, so I could tell when it was going to happen, as Asher is very sweet when this special time comes around daily, sooo... here you have it...

He says "mommy (or daddy)?? I LIKE you sooooo much" It is the sweetest thing ever and lucky for us, he tells us he likes us about 100 times a day. 

So this week- it was crazy- last-week-of-classes week (so final presentations, term papers, and projects).  I helped organize and print off every last poster for the JMU Viral Discovery poster session that was awesome and well-attended.  I tell you, I am so proud of our students.  These are freshman that have a huge advantage on other students because of this class.

 Friday, after work, I helped with a party, but I will save those pictures till the end.  Then just before sunset, I met up with these cuties and did a mini-session.  I have taken their photos three years now, and this year was so, so great!

Ethan just turned 8, so he will be getting more pictures next weekend too

Saturday, we went to my friend, Katy's house.  She just turned 30 and threw a huge party for her husband, her mother-in-law, and herself.  She made all the desserts and let me tell ya, they were magnificent.

I took a bunch of family photos too. That was super fun and I hope that the mom of the family is happy with me, the pictures were a lot of fun to take. I think the best way to get good smiles is by saying something funny and random like "1...2...3.... grandma tooted!" Everyone smiled REALLY BIG for that one...
