Boo!

Asher likes kissing and hugging this statue of Jesus I have right outside the door to our house.

Today he and Matt and I have been outside a LOT- all morning, all afternoon, and now this evening. It is the best way to keep Asher happy, though, it is a lot of work and very tiring... Particularly in 90 heat with high humidity. I am sort of awaiting our daily thunderstorm so we can call it a day and come in...

Valerie is at Busch Gardens (and dinner at The Cheesecake Factory) with her friend. I am so grateful that they asked her to go with them and that we got her a season pass for this purpose so inexpensively back in April. Valerie sold some of her clothes for dinner money at a consignment store. Isn't that fun? She is learning some interesting lessons, but important ones as well.

It really has been a blessing to allow Valerie to do normal things despite our crazy reality. I am so SO grateful for this. Now... what to do when they go away for part of the summer...

Asher being silly.

Asher still being silly, and very, very sweet.

And... a by-chance discovery~~~
