These two have made me a mom. I am so grateful for my babies. They are so different. They have opened my eyes to things I had previously been blind.


Valerie is really getting into hair, makeup, clothes... music... SHE IS A TEENAGER! She really is! She is so much better of a kid that I was at 13.5 though. She is so much more confident than I was, and AND! She is true to herself. That is priceless.

Asher is ALL BOY. Facial scrapes are corteousy of a nasty fall during a VERY EXCITED response to his baby pool and bubble-maker Friday afternoon. That was sad! Seriously, it was his worst fall yet, and sadly, I know there are more to come. He is 100% full-throttle into whatever it is that has his interest.

He can take the lid or cap off ANYTHING and this is a VERY entertaining thing for him! He also runs (does not walk) and wants to be involved in any and every thing new!

Anyway. That is all I have for now.

We are planning to visit my brother this weekend in LeJeune . He is going to a certain desert around the first of June. I will miss him for certain, I am just so glad that he has Jennifer and Taylor. Jennifer is such an amazing girl, Michael is so lucky and so am I. Jennifer and I have become very close and she loves me. I know this: I am held at arms-length with a polite smile by many, but I am loved by few. Jennifer loves me. I am so grateful. I spent the day in tears yesterday feeling so accessory in my life, and like I really do not matter to people I WANT to matter to, but I matter to Jennifer, Michael and Taylor and that makes me happy. It brings a measure of peace to my ailing soul.
