Baptism!!

This is my friend, Kelsie. Her family was baptized back in February and she felt a little left out. She was only seven though.

Today, she was baptized- BY HER DADDY and it was a very, VERY special day.

(Candice's pictures, my camera won't work indoors anymore)

We went to see Kelsie baptized and the Spirit was so strong. My heart was so filled with love and joy for her and her family.

Asher CLAPPED when Jamie baptized her. It was so so sweet.

We were ALL filled with joy.

Wanna hear something interesting? Asher still (like all babies) loves looking at bright lights. Do you know what he calls the lights?

"Dadda"

Yep. Matt and lights are both "Dadda" interesting, eh?

That is something that fills my heart too.

This is a necklace of Valerie's from my mom. She loves it. It is a whole collection of heart-shaped gemstones that she can choose from.

As soon as we got home, of course Asher wanted to run free in the yard.

He ran so hard, half of his sandal came off, thank goodness Dadda (not the light) fixed him right up.

I gave the Holy Ghost talk. Such an important talk to give!! I defined the Holy Ghost by reading a little from the Bible Dictionary, then I talked about how it is given- and when- from the Articles of Faith. Then I told Kelsie how she can know of the Holy Ghost's influence, telling her that for every person it is different, but for everyone, it helps us to do the right thing and fills us will peace and happiness and love. THEN I showed her and the kids this AWESOME demonstration using the power of chemistry and physics. I bore my testimony about my love and gratitude for the Holy Ghost in my life.

I encourage the parents to try the demo with your children. The "Holy Ghost" is a little bit of dish soap (and it only works once per bowl of water).
