I picked up Valerie and Kayla today- thank goodness camp was relatively close. I have barely any gas at all in my car. The light was on all the way to and from camp, but we got home ok.
Last week, we ran out of gas on the way to Valerie's school. Just a little mortifying...
Both girls were excited about a soft bed, a warm shower and "good" water to drink. The funny thing is, when I went camping, it was really, really bare-bones. This camp looked pretty awesome to me ;-)
Of course, when Valerie came in, she saw her room. She was mid-sentance when she opened the door and then she just stopped talking. She actually did not say anything for at least 4 minutes, then she said... "THANK YOU!" so that was a relief. After that, she opened the refrigerator and was disappointed to say the least. There is a ward picnic tonight though, so we are good for dinner.

Girl, you need to apply for food stamps or WIC, or hit a food pantry. There are so many programs out there to help people, and if you have kids, you are all the more eligible. I have a bunch of Number 10 cans of dried food if you are interested. I want to get them out of my closet because they are not coming to utah with me, but if you want them, let me know ASAP, as linda will come get them too. She doesnt need them though, you might.
Things are bad in this town right now. Up the road, my two of my neighbors have been out of work since April. We are out of work in a couple weeks. Why is everything so bad right now?
