Park It

Today was another day at the park. The things to do around here are pretty limited. Even this park requires a 20 minute drive. Seriously, not much to do...

The pool opened this week and I may start taking Asher there before lunch, but I have never been one to sit around at a pool. I think it is the most boring thing ever. Besides, there is NO SHADE AT ALL at the pool and I really can not sit in the sun. We will see though...

This is the "A Dream Come True" park. It really is pretty neat.

I love that there is an area for little guys and a separate area for big guys... Though it is totally accessible by little guys and Asher nearly gave me a heart attack as he climbed up to the twisty slide, then tried to WALK down it. Thank goodness for the little girl who took his hand and led him down to me. Seriously. Have I mentioned what an explorer he is?

This is Tawnya. She was like, "HI! I'm Tawnya!" about 10 times to Asher ;-)

Always so serious....

Always playing on that phone...

His favorite is that I take him to the family rest room and get him all wet to cool him down before we leave.

Valerie liked the 400 pound-capacity changing table ?!

And... the desired effect was achieved... Asher fell asleep right before we got back home. Oh, nap... How I love you...

That pic of Valerie on the changing table is hilarious! That looks like such a great park!! And seriously, what's up with the pools with no shade? That's how all the pools around here are, not that I ever go (no way would I brave the pool alone with 4 kids!!), but someday I will!

Where do I get a hammock like that one? I LOVE to get Cole out before nap time and wear him out! He didn't nap today so he went to bed at 6 and Jack and Mia were out by 8. Sweet quiet solitude.

You are luuuuucky. Seriously, Asher is up till at least 11 every night. If he does get a nap (like today) he can stay up till 1. It is awesome... then he is up by 7.
