Matt was playing a fun game with Asher- smack my cheeks to make a funny noise...
I dropped Valerie off for year two of Girls' Camp. I was MUCH less worried this year since she was so excited to go and since last year, she LOVED camp.
Here is the thing though. I was up all night (imagine that) and Asher was awake until 7, then Matt was puttering around until 7:30, so I told myself to get up at 8 to be out the door at 8:20 to pick up Kayla. I told her we would be there at 8:30.
I never have to set an alarm because I always wake up when I am supposed to. Except today. I was dreaming that I was late to work (waitressing at Cracker Barrell) and getting ready to call in and tell them I couldn't make it when I woke to my phone ringing. It was 8:32 and it was Kayla. That girl. I am actually glad she called to wonder where we were, but still.
So, we got to the rendezvous only 12 minutes late ;-) and Valerie is off a-campin.
I re-did her room for her so it is not so clutter-y.
This loft bed was my BEST idea for her. I got it on Craigslist last summer from a man whose voice sounded like Mickey Mouse.
You can not really tell it because I dont have a wide-angle lens... or a camera for which you can buy lenses... well, not a digital one, BUT! She has a lot of room to play her Wii and dance.
I curtained off the inner part to the loft. Inside is her butterfly chair (I seriously want a couple for my office).
And her CLEAN desk with super-sweet lighting. Seriously. Those lights are way cool.
I am excited for her so see it!
I need to clean "her" bathroom and de-clutter the main area of our home. I am on a serious desire to purge, purge, PURGE! Too much stuff.
I want to do a yard sale, but where do I get tables? I know I cant crouch over to put things on the ground and I am BETTING people who might stop by dont want to shop from the garage floor...

Her room looks great! I'm starting to purge my house too. It's not fun because I have too much JUNK!
I would looooove to take down all the posters- hand-made and ripped from magazines, but I restrained myself...
