Please pray for my friends, Joel and Krissy Pieper. Krissy is in full-on pre-ecclampsia. The "good" news is that she is now 24 weeks pregnant with Madison and has recieved 2 doses of steriods to help speed the development and oxygen-carrying capacity of her precious lungs.
The steroids do their best work with at least 48 hours, so my short-term prayer is for Madison to not be born by emergency c-section until after Tuesday, but in any case, we all need to be praying for her health. 24 weeks is really early. Her big brother, Isaac was born at 25 weeks and 3 days and it was a long 5 months in the NICU, but he really is fine now.
This is really scary for everyone involved. Please send up your prayers for Krissy and Madison. Please.
This is Isaac about 12 hours after his birth. I made this video with his daddy's permission. It really was scary. His life and strength has changed me forever.
