A break!

Today, I got up at about the same time as always, my throat is really, really sore. IT is more my neck than throat, it is very odd. Anyway. I did not sleep-in.

I was feeling a little anxious about how we are going to "get through" this week, so I did what I always do. I went through Asher's clothes to see what can be sold. I have a lot of summer/spring, but that just is not selling, so I listed some fall. Things are so slow! I have not sold much at all- two rompers (the cheapest things on the list) and the FREE pair of fleece pants (ick) have been claimed. So fun.

Anyway, it has inspired me to start turning over the closet. It inspired Asher to turn over my nice stacks of clothing...

At the back of the closet, I found this. I got it 2 days before Christmas on Amazon for a mere 4 dollars. DEAL OF THE YEAR. I was like "There is no way it will fit," when I got it out of the closet, but it DID! We have a Halloween costume that is WAY cool and super CUTE for... $4. I rocked that one.

Asher really loved the slippery fabric. He laid on the floor and kept wiggling all over to feel it.

Then he chased me around. He LOVES "getting" me.

Look at that cutie. Happy to just have on a shiny, silver, slippery costume. Yesterday, he copied me when I said "Asher" (Aaaaaazzer) and today, every time I asked him, "Can you say Asher?" he pointed to his belly. He is a silly boy.
He has been talking/babbling a LOT lately. It is pretty much the cutest thing EVER.
He also hums and matches the pitch of the engine when we are in the car. I SO remember doing that as a little girl. I think we have a muscian on our hands.

Valerie got home after 9 from her "Seminary Social" in Charlottesville. That is the hardest part about such a geographically large stake, it takes up so much space and time and gas. Thankfully, I only had to drive 1/2 the distance, but still. She had a fun weekend though, so that is all good. She was especially enamored by Asher and his cute talking all the way home (and pointing to himself to "say" Asher) that she was quite delightful.

Here she is in the headband I modified with her favorite kind of feather.

I printed out several of these invitations- I am so glad the printer made the colors even BRIGHTER and more-vibrant. They look EXACTLY how I had hoped. That sure was lucky.

Matt is currently "laminating" small cards with party information on them with packing tape. He gets all the fun jobs ;-)

I am grateful for Matt, he is my sweetie boy cutie bootie.
