Let's get ready for some FOOTBALL!

Um.  Look at THIS.  He picked up this football and knew exactly what to do.  He rared back and threw it- about 6 inches ;-)  The he picked it back up and took off running.  Every guy (normally, a big guy) who comments on how big Asher is, says, "Well, he is just going to be a linebacker."  That scares me.  I dont really like football, I had a friend's brother killed instantly on the football field in middle school.   I sometimes like football games- particularly ACC games at Scott Stadium...  Anyway, as for PLAYING the sport, ever since that accident, it has scared me.  Anyway, he has the natural size and apparently, some talent too.  I have never seen a 23 month old handle a football like that the first time he ever held one.  I am just sayin'

He's looking for the open guy down the field
Off to make a touch-down
He's got good-ole boy hair with that baseball cap on ;-)

Anyway, today was a good day.  I was hustling, but it was, in fact, a good day.  I am going to have a good semester as long as I keep my head and say my prayers.  I have the BEST group of undergraduates working for me.  I am so lucky.

Anyway, it was good, my "bad" days are Tuesday and Thursday, as I teach straight through from 9-5.  That is going to be interesting.  I will probably dread Tuesday and Thursday a little bit.

Valerie had a good day too.  Today, she brought me her algebra I.  Goodness, not my favorite subject, but I showed her how to do it and I explained that it will take time and effort and it will get easier, but only if she takes the time and spends the effort.  Lucky for her, she catches on VERY quickly, so I think she will be fine.

Matt is a math person too and he did not finish college so long ago, so he can be a great help too.

Finally, I saw these on NieNie's blog and thought I would post an amazon link (if you order anything from my blog, I get a % of the sales).

They make me smile!

Finally, I am in LOVE with this... Actually, I love the D90, but that is impractical and way too much money for a non-full-time professional photog unless you have no family and no bills.

That pass stance kind of reminds me of Brett Favre. He's a good boy.
