I am also exhausted because of my insane hours, insane schedule and all the brain-power I have had to put into my life, so I am out-of-sorts...

but my student loans are deferred and are now current and that is a good thing.

More good things:

Valerie is up at 6:30 (*by herself) in the mornings. This is a FIRST-EVER. She (and I) are NOT morning people. Which is good, we can grunt and not talk to each other without offending. At 7:15, she is out the back door....














And across the yard to meet the bus at her friend's house. This is a first-ever too. I have ALWAYS ALWAYS taken her to school, just last year was her first year of riding the bus home regularly. I had tears in my eyes watching her walk away this morning. Man, that was tough. She still looks so small to me.








Asher was happier today to see me. He hugged me tightly and nuzzled into me and said "MA MA MA MA!!" then he ran off and told me "tinky!" because he was.

Today, he looked up this slide for several minutes, but he WOULD NOT go down it. I think it was way too scary. That cracks me up. Valerie was the fearless toddler.
