I am so Tired...

My week has just been totally insane. I feel like I have been running non-stop since last Saturday. It is just amazing.

I spent ALL #?!* DAY at the DMV yesterday- actually 2 trips. One to print off something that they said was not there... all-in-all though, I am just glad that everything is in order now. What a relief. I am not even kidding.

I barely got home and Shannon was here- we went to Edinburg to be with Sarah Grace for a couple hours, then back here, up with Asher, finally to bed at midnight... Couldnt sleep.

Up, then at work by 10, home at 1, leave for the potato chip factory for Shannon's family's order. I discovered amazing sweet potato chips. WOW.

Funeral at the Episcopalian church. There is something significant to be said for a ritualistic funeral service and burial. It is a process that allows for closure. It feels so somber and formal. I realized that I miss that about church. A sacrament meeting is like immobile chuck-e-cheese sometimes, with formal prayers. The sacrament is always a special time for me, but the sacrament meeting can be so different and informal in feeling than the way I was used to in other churches.

So, funeral. It was perfect, there were tears, musings, music, communion, an amazing soprano, priesthood robes, responsive readings... It was truly a beautiful service.

2.5 hours after arrival, we left for graveside "commision" to the grave a good 15 minutes away, THEN home...

On the way, my car would not go above 40 on the interstate. It was super. I put oil in the engine and I have hopes that tomorrow it will be better, because... I have to drive 80 miles away to get Valerie.

Yikes. Asher was happy to see me this evening.

I have had vertigo/heart palpitations all evening. It is quite odd. I now have a head ache too. I feel like I am getting old. I also have the most-interesting rash. It is really bad in my inner right arm, but also on my scalp, neck, chest, back, other arm, and right leg... even a few spots on my face now. What the heck is that? I thought it was hives, but there are tiny blisters like the stupid fun on my fingers...

Anyway, I am tired. I have to go in Monday morning. It is beginning to look a lot like a new school year ;-)
