Yikes, I am TIRED. I have been so busy this week. Today, particularly. I totally was hustling all day, but I can say if classes started tomorrow, I would be ok. I have my labs up and ready, everything is clean or new. All the documents are updated, everything looks good.
I have an ALLLLL day "New Faculty" meeting Monday, 3 meetings and a lunch I may or may not be able to afford Tuesday (depends on my birthday, hah hah), ALLLLL day Faculty retreat Wednesday, meetings and therapy Thursday AND finally, Nothing but last minute things on Friday. Classes begin August 30. Valerie, however, starts 8th grade next week, on Tuesday.
How did she get to be an 8th grader??!
We are starting to think about Asher's birthday party, thankfully, it is still really nice here at the end of Sept, so we will do it here and keep it low-key in terms of activities. We have a great yard with trampoline, sprinkler, parachute, bubble machine, pop-up tents, etc and I am good at balloon animals and face-painting. So EXCITING!
Anyway, that will be the 25. I am looking forward to it. I had this idea that I would have a new camera by then. Blah. Matt promised me one after the Christmas fiasco. Whatev. though. My really sweet step-father used to say, "Wish in one hand, s*it in the other and see which happens first." Ummm yeah. Kinda like that. I have been asking for/wanting one for 4 years now, what is another 4? Besides, it would be obscelete in 2.
I did want to eat out on my SUNDAY birthday too because I don't want to cook, but that makes me a heathen, apparently, unless I travel out of town, so that is out. Alas.
Nothing really to talk about, I am just tired, excited, nervous, happy for the new school year.
