Ready for the Weekend...

Look at this boy! I don't know HOW, but I got a couple GREAT shots of Asher today. He was humoring me. I went in till 1, then Matt and I switched and I had Asher till 3, then I went BACK to work... I was finally TOTALLY DONE at 8. I did not think everything would take so long. But! I am now completely ready for classes Monday.










Asher is adorable. We had a GREAT afternoon of learning numbers and colors and inventing a game involving an empty ceramic tissue box cover in the bathtub. It was great fun.









We also went outside and Asher was deleriously happy. He literally was CRACKING up laughing and barely could keep his eyes open (he was up at 3 am! He has been doing this and wanting me. He misses his mamma.). We went inside, but he got a second wind and was the silly boy I know so well.













This was my desk when I was getting ready to leave. I have 2 notes: Ask Robert about the new edition of the lab manual and something I forgot already. that is a new thing for me. I have NEVER been a list-maker, but I am making them lots now. I am grateful for them! They keep me sane, on-task, and focused.


I left right at 8. The sun was behind the mountains, but it was not dark. I LOVE dusk, it is my favorite time of day. I went out to my (Matt's) car. I used to crack up when I realized that a lot of LDS families have the dad- who makes all the money driving a piece-of-crap car, while the mom has a nice, generally newer car. I am now in that position. The more I thought about leaving Matt with his crappy car, the more I realized I could not do that with a good conscious, soooo I am in the creaky, leany, bad-brakes car with no clock, no radio and no working outlet to charge my phone/iPod. Sure is sweet. It is also the most uncool car I have ever had. I was cracking up about that today. I have always really loved cars. I never would have chosen a 1992 rusted out, stinky Tercel, but thar she is, hopefully we will have many adventures together ;-)

I dont have anything extensive to talk about with Valerie... she literally left about 2 minutes after school. She is going to her friends' for a birthday/slumber party and then tomorrow to a "Seminary social." I am thanking the good Lord that I am not ALSO doing THAT this week. Shivers... Yay for 13.
